SHENOY NAGAR SASWATHA NIDHI LIMITED was founded On 29th September 1980 with a main object to encourage and enable to save money, invest their savings in various account of deposits which the NIDHI can accept and enable members to secure loans at such favourable rates of interest and on such securities as may appear appropriate from time to time the management of the NIDHI for the time being.
The NIDHI shall not however do banking business with the PUBLIC as defined in the Banking Regulation Act,1949. And to grant loans to the members on the security of deposits, movables such as gold and on the security of immovable properties situated within City Limits of Chennai.
The company is registered under Companies Act 1956 on 29th Sep 1980 as a public limited company in which public are SUBSTANTLY INTERESTED and subsequently the Fund has been declared as “NIDHI” by the Central Government under section 620A of the companies Act 1956, vide notifications no. G.S.R. Notification No. 88 dated 20th May 1987.
The success of the Fund during the last 45 years is known for its prompt repayment of Deposits and Interest on Due Dates.
